Baseball Recap: Oilton Comes Up Short

Oilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Coyle Bluejackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 21-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Oilton's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Coyle, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Coming up, Oilton will head out to take on Drummond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Coyle has already played their next matchup (against Mulhall-Orlando), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
