Volleyball Game Preview: Bluefield Beavers vs. Graham G-Men

Bluefield hasn't had much luck against Graham recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Beavers will look to defend their home court against the G-Men at 7:00 p.m.

Bluefield lost 3-0 to Graham on Wednesday.

While Bluefield was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Graham's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Bluefield better keep an eye on Kami Newman. She was instrumental in Graham's win, getting 19 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Newman a new career-high.

Graham was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in six consecutive matchups.

Bluefield's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Graham, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
