Rayne has gone a perfect 10-0 against Port Barre recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wolves will host the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. Rayne is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Rayne's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Loreauville as they made off with a 14-0 win. Considering the Wolves have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Port Barre nor St. Edmund made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Red Devils fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Port Barre got a good showing from Andrew Barker, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Barker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Port Barre saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coby Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Port Barre's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Rayne, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.

Rayne got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Port Barre by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
