Basketball Recap: Charlotte Christian Find Success

Charlotte Christian's game on Friday was all tied up 16-16 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 41-28 win over the Corvian Community Cardinals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Charlotte Christian found their leader in freshman Ella Manry, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Manry. Sierra Myers was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Corvian Community still got an impressive performance from Emily Johnson, who had ten points.

Charlotte Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Corvian Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Forsyth Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. As for Corvian Community, they will challenge Greater Cabarrus S at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
