Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Chris Hooper stepped things up a notch to give Cass Tech the 'W'. Hooper scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Hooper and Cass Tech will face off against Renaissance at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Technicians got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Phoenix thanks in part to Hooper: he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.
