Softball Recap: South River Starts Season with Loss at Home

South River unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elizabeth Seton on Saturday.

South River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callee Harris, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Looking ahead, South River will face off against Mount de Sales Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elizabeth Seton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-7 victory against Oxon Hill on the 10th.
