Basketball Game Preview: Granville Blue Aces vs. Heath Bulldogs

Granville and Heath are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Granville Blue Aces will be playing at home against the Heath Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Granville is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Licking Heights just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 50-47.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Heath's strategy against Johnstown-Monroe on Friday. Everything went Heath's way against Johnstown-Monroe as Heath made off with a 59-39 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Heath's win came from a few key players Granville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jordan Kaminsky, who posted 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Duston, who scored 15 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Heath's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Granville, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3.
