Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. Greer

The Seneca Bobcats are taking a road trip to take on the Greer Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Seneca was able to grind out a solid win over Berea, taking the game 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seneca.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Blue Ridge with a sharp 6-3 victory on Friday. Greer might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Blue Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kim Gomez (4), Hallee Lackey, and Belinda Gomez.

Greer pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three games. As for Seneca, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
