Soccer Recap: Groton School Takes a Loss

Groton School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Brooks. While losing is never fun, Groton School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Brooks is ranked fifth).

Groton School's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-3. As for Brooks, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groton School will challenge rival Milton Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brooks is set to square off against their familiar foe Thayer Academy at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
