Basketball Recap: Randolph-Henry Comes Up Short

Randolph-Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Cumberland Dukes, falling 55-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Statesmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-22 back in December of 2024.

Randolph-Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cumberland, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Randolph-Henry won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Buckingham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cumberland, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Nottoway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nottoway has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
