With a playoff win on the line, Donovan Catholic rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans by a score of 5-2. Winning may never get old, but the Griffins sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Isabella Cino, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Donovan Catholic's win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they moved to 19-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Donovan Catholic has already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against St. John-Vianney on the 5th. St. Thomas Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
