Basketball Recap: Justina Cichos Key Part of Team Effort in Buffaloes Win

There's no place like home for Bishop Machebeuf, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They secured a 39-35 W over the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Buffaloes: when they faced off against the Timberwolves back in February, they had to take a 53-24 defeat.

Bishop Machebeuf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justina Cichos, who posted seven points along with seven boards and four steals. Cichos has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarai Ramirez, who scored eight points in addition to six rebounds and four blocks.

Bishop Machebeuf's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Union Colony Prep, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

As of now, neither Bishop Machebeuf nor Union Colony Prep have any future games scheduled.
