Swansea has gone a perfect 5-0 against Midland Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Swansea Tigers will challenge the Midland Valley Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Swansea will be strutting in after a victory while Midland Valley will be coming in after a loss.

While Swansea fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Swansea who was credited with the win on Tuesday. Swansea got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Irmo's two. Midland Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Carolina's top teams: Brookland-Cayce, who was ranked 18th at the time (Midland Valley was ranked 25th). Midland Valley came up short against Brookland-Cayce on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Swansea came out on top in a nail-biter against Midland Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Swansea since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
