Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gloucester County Christian). Their defense stepped up to hand American Christian School an 8-0 shutout on Monday. Given Gloucester County Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while American Christian School are ranked 331st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gloucester County Christian's offense was hitting American Christian School from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Brady Gesin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Gloucester County Christian moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for American Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
