Softball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short

Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the Covenant Christian Eagles. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Sheffield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Covenant Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Sheffield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-1 loss against Phil Campbell on the 22nd. As for Covenant Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Cherokee on the 22nd.
