Baseball Recap: Cloverleaf Takes a Loss

Holy Name hit Cloverleaf with a four-run seventh inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colts might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-1 to the Green Wave, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Colts just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Cloverleaf's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Holy Name, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-13 record this season.

Cloverleaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Name, they will face off against Hawken at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Green Wave surely won't give up without a fight.
