Basketball Recap: Mercy School Institute Piles Up the Points Against Gracemont

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mercy School Institute). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 83-40 victory over the Gracemont Lions. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-6.

Among those leading the charge was Taim Salkini, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Laith Alkalani, who earned 14 points.

Mercy School Institute's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Gracemont, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Mercy School Institute will host Unity Academy for Boys at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gracemont, they will head out to face off against Aline-Cleo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
