Soccer Game Preview: Dublin vs. Swainsboro

The Dublin Fighting Irish will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Swainsboro Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Dublin came up short against Baldwin on Tuesday, falling 12-3. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Irish have lost by exactly nine goals.

Meanwhile, Swainsboro had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Indians. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly two goals.

They hit Vidalia with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayla Crabb, Gracie Beneteau, and Bre McClendon.

Swainsboro's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dublin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
