A.J. Schlachter Game Report: vs Fruita Monument

Passers beware: A.J. Schlachter came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made eight total tackles as Grand Junction fell to Fruita Monument 10-7. We hope Schlachter's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Schlachter and Grand Junction have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Durango at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons will enter the matchup having just beaten Palisade, so the Tigers will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
