Southern Boone had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Hallsville on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Indians. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Southern Boone pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Hallsville, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Coincidentally, Southern Boone and Hallsville will both be playing Fatima the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Indians will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
