Soccer Recap: Northeast Guilford Takes a Loss

Northeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the High Point Central Bison. Northeast Guilford were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced High Point Central earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Northeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for High Point Central, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-12-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northeast Guilford is set to challenge their familiar foe Dudley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, High Point Central will face off against rival Rockingham County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
