Basketball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Keyser Golden Tornado, falling 63-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 56-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Keyser, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Frankfort will challenge Moorefield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keyser, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Linsly at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Linsly will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Keyser surely won't give up without a fight.
