Softball Recap: Clear Lake Takes a Loss

Clear Lake extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-4 in the process. They came up short against the Prairie Farm Panthers, falling 10-0. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 15-6 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Prairie Farm, they now have a winning record of 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

For Prairie Farm's part, Kylie Kahl made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Kahl has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, Madalyn Larson was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Mykala Shelton, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
