Basketball Recap: Guajome Park Academy Takes a Loss

Guajome Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 73-35 defeat at the hands of the Classical Academy Caimans. The Frogs were down 52-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Classical Academy found their leader in freshman Issac Chapman, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Nathan French was another key player, putting up nine points.

Guajome Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Classical Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Escondido Adventist Academy the next time they take the court. Classical Academy will host Escondido Adventist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Guajome Park Academy will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
