Volleyball Recap: Great Oak Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Sydney Danylchuk and Jadin Mantiply + How To Watch

Great Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-12.

Great Oak's loss came despite strong showings from Jadin Mantiply and Sydney Danylchuk. Mantiply had 11 assists and six digs, while Danylchuk had four digs and two aces.

Temecula Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hyacinth Peregrino, who had ten digs and two assists. Peregrino is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Great Oak's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Temecula Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Great Oak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Murrieta Mesa on the 9th.
