Volleyball Game Preview: Chilton County Tigers vs. Spain Park Jaguars + How To Watch

The Chilton County Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Spain Park Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Chilton County extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Addison Tignor. Everything went the Tigers' way against Billingsley on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Tignor, who had ten digs, five kills, and five aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Chilton County was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-20.

Chilton County can attribute much of their success to Kayleigh Davis, who had eight digs and two aces, and Amelia Smith, who had three aces and one assist. That's the most aces Smith has posted since back in August.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Spain Park faced off against Pelham on Thursday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

Spain Park never let Pelham on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Chilton County's record is now 19-11. As for Spain Park, their record now sits at 26-5.

Chilton County might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Spain Park when the teams last played back in August. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
