After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pickett County, South Pittsburg was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They breezed by the Copper Basin Cougars to the tune of 68-31. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

South Pittsburg's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Copper Basin, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
