Basketball Recap: Collegiate Piles Up the Points Against Buhler

Collegiate lost to Buhler back in February of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Collegiate Spartans breezed past the Buhler Crusaders to the tune of 70-43. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.

Collegiate's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.5 points over those games. As for Buhler, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Collegiate will head out to take on Wellington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Buhler, they will welcome McPherson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McPherson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Buhler likes a good challenge.
