Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Comes Up Short

Goodman-Pembine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manawa Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Leading Manawa to victory were Elmhorst Abby and Zemple Alyssa. Abby had four digs and four aces, while Alyssa had three digs.

Goodman-Pembine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Manawa, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, Goodman-Pembine and Manawa will both be playing Berlin the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Indians at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
