Football Recap: Jackson Gebhardt Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Fossil Ridge + How To Watch

Loveland's game on Thursday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out the Fossil Ridge SaberCats 17-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Wolves have posted since September 6, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loveland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Gebhardt, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Those 106 rushing yards gave Gebhardt a new career-high. Deon Christopher helped out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards and a rushing touchdown.

The victory got Loveland back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loveland will head out to challenge Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Fossil Ridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Rock Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
