Volleyball Game Preview: Romeoville Spartans vs. Joliet Central Steelmen

The Romeoville Spartans will square off against the Joliet Central Steelmen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Romeoville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Romeoville came up short against Plainfield North and fell 2-0.

While Romeoville had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Joliet Central's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to Bolingbrook.

While Joliet Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Joliet Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Romeoville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.
