Basketball Recap: Cascade Christian Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Cascade Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past Thorp 44-42. The win was some much needed relief for Cascade Christian Academy as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Thorp is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade Christian Academy will take on Vashon Island in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Thorp, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pateros at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
