Basketball Recap: Mason Camden's Big Game Can't Quite Lead East Mills over Shenandoah

East Mills suffered their closest loss since February 20, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Shenandoah Mustangs by a score of 61-59.

East Mills lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mason Camden, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sheldon Vandenberg, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Even though they lost, East Mills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

East Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Shenandoah, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

East Mills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-40 win against Essex on the 7th. As for Shenandoah, they have also already played their next contest, a 100-56 loss against Kuemper on the 7th.
