Mercy dropped their record down to 20-14 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Bullitt East Chargers by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Mercy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carly Shephard, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

As for Bullitt East, they pushed their record up to 27-5 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games.

On Bullitt East's side, Alivia Cooper was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

As of now, neither Mercy nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
