Softball Recap: Plumstead Christian Comes Up Short

Plumstead Christian lost against MAST Community Charter back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Plumstead Christian took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of MAST Community Charter.

Olivia Incudine put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. Those triples were her first of the season.

Plumstead Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for MAST Community Charter, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plumstead Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Collegium Charter at 3:45 p.m. on the 24th. As for MAST Community Charter, they will face off against The Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
