Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Comes Up Short

Frontier Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Central Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Hawks of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Frontier Regional couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 28-26, 25-19.

Tegan Dexter paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up 11 kills. Dexter got some help from Tavo Vincent-Warner and his 20 assists. Nathan Rivera controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Frontier Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Frontier Regional has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Ludlow on the 22nd. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Chicopee Comp on the 22nd.
