Tikigaq extends home losing streak to four

This season hasn't been kind to the Tikigaq Harpooners, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They were dealt a 68-31 loss at the hands of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas on Tuesday. Tikigaq was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas found their leader in underclassman Clinton Ezugha, who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ezugha has scored at least 25% of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Aranas, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Tikigaq bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Tikigaq and Mount Vernon will face off at 3:00 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mount Vernon is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.2 points per game. Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Western at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. One thing working in Western's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
