Football Game Preview: Calvert Senecas vs. Northwood Rangers

The Calvert Senecas will head out to face off against the Northwood Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvert has given up an average of 30.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Calvert is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 34 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Gibsonburg on Friday. They took a blow against the Golden Bears, falling 42-6. The Senecas were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.

Meanwhile, Northwood had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Willard 53-32 on Friday. The game marked the Rangers' most dominant win of the season.

The victory got Northwood back to even at 3-3. As for Calvert, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Calvert came up short against Northwood in their previous meeting back in October of 2015, falling 47-40. Can the Senecas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
