Volleyball Recap: Rincon/University Has No Trouble Against Sabino

Rincon/University waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Sabino Sabercats by a score of 2-0. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Rangers this season.

When it comes to explaining why Sabino lost, don't look at Emily Becerra. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs.

Rincon/University's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sabino, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Rincon/University and Sabino will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. The Sabercats will head out to face the Mountain Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rangers will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
