Godinez Fundamental is 7-2 against Costa Mesa since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Godinez Fundamental is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 75-30 win over Magnolia. The victory was some much needed relief for the Grizzlies as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Costa Mesa came up short against Elsinore on Monday and fell 78-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (65), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Costa Mesa has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Godinez Fundamental, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Godinez Fundamental skirted past Costa Mesa 51-49 in their previous matchup back in November of 2019. Does Godinez Fundamental have another victory up their sleeve, or will Costa Mesa turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
