Soccer Recap: Burnet Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Jarrell

There's no place like home for Burnet, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Jarrell Cougars on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Jarrell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hector Arredondo Ramirez (2), Ricardo Flores, Marco Campos, and Miguel Valdez.

The victory got Burnet back to even at 4-4-1. As for Jarrell, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-4-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Austin Achieve the next time they take the pitch. Jarrell will head out to face Austin Achieve at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Burnet will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
