Football Recap: Corliss Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-14, which was the final score in the Corliss Trojans's tilt against the Thornwood Thunderbirds on Thursday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corliss' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Thornwood, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Corliss and Thornwood will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to challenge their familiar foe Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thornwood will square off against rival Rich Township at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
