Soccer Recap: St. Cloud Tech Gets the Win

St. Cloud Tech took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against DeLaSalle, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Islanders a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. St. Cloud Tech were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on DeLaSalle, so St. Cloud Tech were just returning the favor.

St. Cloud Tech now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for DeLaSalle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, St. Cloud Tech will challenge Detroit Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeLaSalle, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Fridley on the 8th.
