While Armstrong put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Donovan. The Trojans blew past the Wildcats 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Armstrong's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Donovan, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armstrong will host Chrisman at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.6 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Donovan, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against St. Anne at 4:30 p.m.
