Basketball Recap: Covenant Christian Comes Up Short

Covenant Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators, falling 64-36. Covenant Christian was down 51-31 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Covenant Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Gulf Pointe Latin, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Covenant Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Port St. Joe at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Port St. Joe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. Gulf Pointe Latin will take on Central Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
