Volleyball Recap: Westminster Takes a Loss

Westminster's tournament run continued when they took on South Effingham on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Toni Odujebe paced Westminster's offense, picking up 11 kills. Odujebe got some help from Munday Tyrone and her 14 assists. Ashley Adams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Westminster has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. As for South Effingham, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Westminster has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Creekview on the 23rd. As for South Effingham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Union Grove on the 23rd.
