Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission West Comes Up Short

Shawnee Mission West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Olathe North Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Shawnee Mission West's loss dropped their record down to 3-17-2. As for Olathe North, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shawnee Mission West is set to challenge their familiar foe Olathe East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Olathe North will square off against rival Shawnee Mission South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
