Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lincoln County and Incline squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lincoln County had to settle for second. They took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Incline Highlanders. The Lynx have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Despite the loss, Lincoln County still got an impressive performance from Kalen Bart, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Karson Mathews, who posted ten points.

Tommy Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Incline, dropping a double-double with 36 points and ten boards. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Incline's points. Colin Combs was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Incline, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Lincoln County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Incline, they have already played their next game, a 55-50 victory against Needles on the 22nd.
