Softball Recap: Lincoln Park Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Lincoln Park and Anderson have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Railsplitters came up short against the Titans, falling 14-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in April.

Lincoln Park dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Anderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lincoln Park will square off against rival Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Anderson is set to challenge their familiar foe Carlson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
