Parris Peacock produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Liberty to the win on Thursday. Peacock rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

With the victory, Liberty broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Peacock and Liberty will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rancho Verde at 7:00 p.m.

Vista Del Lago Comes Up Short Despite Huge Game from Underclassman Josiah Dupree Boyd

Underclassman Josiah Dupree Boyd came into Thursday's matchup looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. Orange Vista had no answer to Dupree Boyd on Thursday as he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns. Dupree Boyd's longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Vista del Lago's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2. Dupree Boyd and Vista del Lago will take on Paloma Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made three total tackles.

For the season, Hallis has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 62.5 rushing yards per game.
